Transmission is the only show to hear the very best in fresh, new, indie and alternative music.
Every Monday from 8-10pm, hosts Matt Crawley and producer James Cunliffe uncover the biggest and best tunes from rising stars, emerging talent and unsigned artists, so you don’t have to.
And with news, reviews, live sessions, interviews and everything you need to know about the local music scene, you’ll get a window into what’s hot, right now, before anyone else.
Team Transmission kicked off life at Diverse FM with an exclusive interview with Bedford's soul-pop sensation Tom Grennan, all before his debut album, Lighting Matches, crashed into the top 5. Festival headline slots and national awards nominations followed for Tom and Transmission hasn’t looked back.
Crawley said: “We know there’s an immense amount of talent and a thriving alternative scene in Luton, Bedfordshire and the surrounding areas, so we’re delighted that Diverse has given us the platform to support music that we love, so you can discover it too.”
Buckley said: “We’re always keen to hear from unsigned artists. Send us your tunes and, if we love them, we’ll play them. Or, if you’re a budding music writer, get in touch too and you could pen some reviews for our blog at transmissionluton.blogspot.co.uk.”
You can email Transmission with your music and musings at firstname.lastname@example.org or find them on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
If you miss the show, don’t forget you can catch it anytime on Listen Again, or hear it repeated live on air the following Wednesday. You can also find interviews and live sessions on the Transmission Soundcloud page.
And, after every show, all the tunes played can be found on their Spotify playlists, if you search Transmission on Diverse FM.
